One Life. Just One.

Hello, guests, family and friends!  Welcome to our blog series, THE INNKEEPER'S LIFE. So let me re-introduce myself:  I am Elizabeth Clark, an innkeeper by trade, accountant by profession, and God's Event Planner by vocation.

I am currently recuperating in Cottage 120 at my place Spruce Hill, following my recent ankle hardware removal surgery at Avita-Bucyrus Hospital. This procedure was performed with the aim of alleviating the pain and discomfort caused by the screws and pins that were inserted during a previous operation. The initial surgery was done due to a car accident that my son and I were involved in on September 27, 2017.  God is great and wonderful, life is beautiful, and every day is a blessing!

On this come-back blog, I want to delve into the depths of human potential and explore the art of pursuing our wildest dreams. Let us reflect on the notion that we have only one life and ask ourselves why we are not running like we are on fire towards our aspirations. Let's unravel the reasons behind our complacency, shed light on the importance of taking action, and unlock the dormant spirit within us to unleash our full potential.

One Life. Just One. Why are we not running like we are on fire towards our wildest dreams?

Within the confines of our comfort zones, we find solace and familiarity. It is within this realm that complacency takes root, causing us to settle for mediocrity instead of striving for greatness. Our wildest dreams, however, reside just beyond the borders of our comfort zones, urging us to step into the unknown and challenge ourselves. It's time to break free from the shackles of complacency and embrace the exhilarating pursuit of our dreams.

Fear is the silent arsonist that dampens the flame within us. The fear of failure, judgment, or the unknown can hold us back from taking the first step towards our dreams. Yet, it is crucial to recognize that fear is merely an illusion, a construct of our minds. By acknowledging and confronting our fears head-on, we can fan the flames of courage and resilience. Let us not allow fear to smother the fire that burns within us.

Dreams and aspirations remain intangible until we infuse them with action. We often underestimate the power of taking small steps and the compounding effect they have on our journey. Embracing a mindset of action propels us forward, helping us overcome inertia and surmount obstacles along the way. It is through consistent action that our dreams evolve from mere fantasies into tangible realities. So, let's ignite the spark of action and blaze a trail towards our aspirations.

Society often conditions us to conform to established norms and expectations, inadvertently suppressing our innate desire to explore the extraordinary. However, by breaking free from these chains of conformity, we can embrace our unique quirks, unconventional ideas, and unbridled passions. It is by embracing our truest and craziest selves that we unlock the full potential within us. Let's defy conventions and embrace the wild, uncharted path that leads us to our dreams.

In a world where time slips through our fingers like grains of sand, and opportunities come and go, we must reflect upon our complacency and reignite the fire within us. Let us not squander the precious gift of life; instead, let's run like we are on fire towards the extraordinary lives we were meant to lead. By stepping outside our comfort zones, confronting our fears, taking consistent action, and embracing our truest and craziest selves, we can propel ourselves towards the realization of our wildest dreams. Together, let's ignite the flame within and embark on an exhilarating journey towards a life filled with purpose, passion, and fulfillment.

Join me next time as we continue to explore the depths of human potential and inspire one another to live boldly. Remember, this life is your canvas - paint it with vibrant colors, chase your wildest dreams, and leave a legacy that will ignite the dreams of generations to come.

Had a great time, the cottage, 120, was beautiful. We relaxed, looked at the beautiful scenery, and had a quiet peaceful time. Elizabeth was very nice and helpful. Cottage was decorated beautifully. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Jacuzzi type was great to take advantage of. We will be back.
